This is one of our easiest tutorials but the results are gorgeous! With just a few supplies you can create a set of keepsake tins to house small treats or gifts for someone sweet.

Supplies: Heart Tins, Petite Dresden Foil Borders, Dresden Hearts, Valentine Scraps, Stickers, Scissors, Glue

Step 1: Prepare your supplies: If using stickers, decide which best fit your tins.  Cut apart a mix of Dresden pieces, borders and scraps.

Step 2: Glue a petite Dresden border around the edge of a lid, trim any excess.  Let dry.  (It takes about 6-1/2" to 7" to make it all the way around with enough to overlap slightly.)

Step 3: If using stickers, simply adhere stickers to lids.  If using a mix of Dresdens and scraps, glue scraps and Dresdens together and let dry, then glue to tin lids.  Let dry.

Tips: Keep it simple like our butterfly tin: a sticker + a coordinating Dresden border is subtle yet high impact.

Stack mixed hearts like our floral heart tin: a scrap heart + a Dresden heart + a coordinating Dresden border is dimensional and classic.

Go for the gold like our angel tin: a golden heart frame + angel scrap + golden Dresden border is elaborate and elegant.
