It's easy to create these pretty egg ornaments with just a few supplies!

Supplies: Floral Scraps + Border Scraps,  Miniature Dresden Borders, Egg Ornaments, Scissors, Clear Drying Craft Glue (like Alleen's)

Step 1: Arrange your supplies: determine which borders and flower scraps will pair with which eggs, trim scraps away from sheets, match Dresden borders to floral borders.

Note: To make a flat scrap image lay smoothly on an egg, make several cuts pointing inward toward the center of the scrap, so the scrap will bend to the curve of the egg and the cuts will overlap slightly  Cut along patterns in the design (like along a petal or between leaves) to hide the cuts as the scrap bends onto the egg.  This technique will be used for both the border scraps and the bouquet scraps.

Step 2A: To embellish an egg with a frosted frame design: Make cuts in the scraps as described above.  Glue flower scraps inside the frame on both sides.  Let dry.

Step 2B: To embellish a blank egg with Dresden borders and a floral border scrap: Determine desired placement of Dresden borders -- the idea is to have the edges of the floral border slightly cover the Dresden trim so the  Dresden is peeking out from under the floral border.

With design facing outward, glue two rows of Dresden border to the center of the egg.  Make cuts in the floral border as described above to allow the border to curve on the egg.  Glue floral border in place.  Let dry.

Tips: These are real eggs: remember to work gently and not press embellishments in place too hard.

Hold scraps to eggs before glueing to determine if scraps will lay well along curves.  Make more cuts if necessary.  We made between 8-12 cuts per scrap for the bouquet images and 15-20 cuts per side for the floral borders.

Dresden borders can be gently bent to encourage them to bend evenly around the egg.

Floral elements can easily be cut from larger images to make them fit within frames on eggs.

The straighter and more precise your placement of Dresden border + floral border, the more polished your finished egg will look.
