Supplies: Twigs or Small Branches, Tinsel Cording, Flocked Forget-me-nots, Velvet Forget-me-nots, Stamen and Berries, Mushrooms, Glue, Scissors

Step 1: Create small clusters of flowers using a mix of flowers, berries, stamen and mushrooms. Glue several clusters to a branch, spacing several inches apart, or as often as you think looks good.  Let dry.

Step 2: Tie a slip knot in the end of a length of tinsel cording.  Loop it around the bottom end of the branch and pull to tighten.  Working toward the tip, wind the tinsel around the branch.  Be sure each winding abuts the previous one to create a solid look and cover your branch.  

Step 3: When you've reached the tip of the branch, wind back down about 1", tie a knot, then cut the tinsel.  We cut our tinsel to leave a 1/4" tail which we then secured with several drops of tacky glue.  Let dry. 

Tips: When you first begin wrapping your tinsel, you can hide the end of the cord by laying it along the branch and wrapping over it.

You may need more tinsel than you think! We used small branches about 12-14" long and the thickness of a pencil -- it took 5 yards of tinsel (1 bundle) to cover two branches.
