Supplies: Papier mache egg boxes, Dresden foil borders, Rice paper sheets, Mod Podge, Scissors, Glue, Paint Brush
Step 1: Paint Mod Podge on one half of an egg box. Gently wrap rice paper around the contour of the egg, smoothing it as you go. Note that it will fold over itself toward the edges and can be further pressed down as you smooth the rice paper to the edge. Repeat for the other egg half. Let dry.
Step 2: Trim the rice paper to be even with the edges of the egg halves. Glue Dresden borders along the edges of both halves, taking care to line the border up evenly along the edge. Let dry.
Step 3: Fill with small treats or treasures.
Tips: Don't pull to hard on the rice paper when smoothing it on the egg -- it becomes more delicate as it comes into contact with the Mod Podge.
Use two rice paper sheets per egg, especially if you wish to match patterns.
